A globally recognized authority in vocal pedagogy and performance, Justin was recently named a 2025 Master Teacher by the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS). Justin's methodology stems from an evidence-based practice model. He is particularly passionate about identifying the parallels between voice science and sports medicine, explicitly concerning vocal load, efficiency, and sustainability. Justin's experiences as a voice teacher, coach, and researcher have afforded his students success in some of the world's premiere venues, including appearances on Broadway, international tours, television, and in regional theaters and opera houses such as Opera Philadelphia, Central City Opera, Utah Festival Opera & Musical Theatre, and more. As a guest clinician, he has presented over a hundred vocal pedagogy lectures and performance workshops at some of the nation's top training programs, including the Boston Conservatory at Berklee, The New England Conservatory, The Royal Conservatory, Oklahoma City University, and the University of Miami.
